Here at EJ’s we have several staff in which had several years of experience in locating underground utilities, these staff are also hold appropriate accreditation that demonstrates their understanding and skills locating.

Purpose:

Development Sites – locations of the site prior to designing the proposed development structure, confirming unknowns & potential factors influencing the project. This helping to avoid any complications to ongoing works or to new services being installed.

Construction Sites – to determine the extent of services within the concrete for old and new buildings prior to core penetrations of redevelopment of any one area.

On Site Data Collection – detailed drawings obtained from site and collated with plans and existing service provider infrastructure drawings from relevant authorities

Service Locating:

Our extensive range of locating equipment also allows us to complete service locations, this can be done in several ways. Most commonly is through electrical current run through metallic services, giving exact guides and depths on services location. For those services in which do not have metallic structures, we have an extensive ranger for rods which can be fed down the service to locate the service structure.

Locating CCTV equipment:

With the use of our extensive range of CCTV equipment it vital to be able to accurately locate and identify potential faults, issues or damages with drains. At EJ’s we also have a range of locating equipment that is suited not only for the equipment but also suits the clients desired outcomes.

Locators:

We have simple locators that can locate the equipment underground, allowing us to gauge a depth and spray mark ground on exact locator. We also are equipped with some of the worlds first GNSS locating equipment, allowing us to locate within 20mm of accuracy that correlates directly with our mapping software. Allowing it to be used for planning and development projects.
